Flight Systems
Sky Power engines can be used for various unmanned aerial systems. They are used as direct propulsion, for hybrid solutions, as range extenders or also in generator function for power generation.
Click on your flight system to learn more about which motors you can use for your propulsion solution.

The following drive concepts are available.
Please select your drive solution:
Direct drive
In direct propulsion, the power of the engine is transmitted directly to the propeller. If necessary, a generator can be mounted on the back of the engine to generate electricity. This is then a hybrid propulsion solution.

Hybrid propulsion solutions
As a hybrid propulsion solution, the power of the engine is transmitted directly to the propeller and to the generator mounted on the back of the engine, which is used for power generation.

Range Extender
Sky Power engines can be used as range extenders for extra range. In that case, the extra range is generated via an e-drive that powers the propeller. This can also be helpful in emergency situations to stabilize the flight system and guide it safely to a landing site.

Generator (power generation)
Sky Power engines can also be used for pure power generation. In this case, only a generator is mounted to the engine, which produces the electricity and stores it in batteries.
