Online store for Sky Power motors opened

The product portfolio of German UAV engine manufacturer Sky Power GmbH is now also available online. The propulsion systems, spare parts and consumables will be available for purchase via a newly established online store operated by Sky Power International.

“In addition to our standard product portfolio, we will also offer special products via the online store, such as special offers,” says Karsten Schudt, managing director of Sky Power GmbH. In addition to the entire engine range, all consumables, and additional items, such as spark plugs, air filters or control units, are also available online. The engines can be selected in a standard configuration, but individual parameters can also be configured. In some cases, for example, the alternators or starter generators as well as the exhaust systems can be selected for individual engine families.

“It is clear to us, of course, that large companies and existing customers will continue to purchase engines from us via traditional purchasing. But with our online store, we also want to appeal to companies that want to buy an engine in a quick, uncomplicated way. We have noticed, especially with startups and UAV developers, that a simple, quick purchase of motors, without much consultation, is of interest, since in many cases motors are also purchased here to perform basic tests with newly developed UAV solutions. For the further, next development steps, these companies then often approach us for additional consulting or to order individually configured motor systems,” continues Schudt.
