Description

The SP-210 TS ROS from Sky Power is a state-of-the-art 2-stroke boxer engine designed specifically for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). With dual ignition and a rear output shaft, this engine meets the most demanding requirements for performance, reliability and versatility. It is ideal for demanding applications in civil, industrial and military applications.

Sky Power International is a leading manufacturer of innovative propulsion systems based in Germany. The company is known for its highly precise and reliable engine solutions, which are used in unmanned aerial vehicles worldwide. With a clear focus on quality, performance and sustainability, Sky Power is setting new standards in UAV technology, including with the SP-210 TS ROS.

With a displacement of 210 cc and an output of 17.1 hp (12.6 kW) at 6000 rpm, the SP-210 TS ROS offers exceptional performance. The engine operates in a speed range of 1500 to 10000 rpm and produces a torque of 22.5 Nm at 5000 rpm. Despite its high power, it remains relatively light, weighing just 6.56 kg including the ignition. This makes it ideal for UAVs, where the weight-to-power ratio is crucial.

A special feature of this Bower engine is the dual ignition, which not only increases ignition reliability but also optimizes combustion efficiency. This results in better power delivery and overall higher reliability, which is invaluable in critical UAV missions. The rear output shaft allows for flexible integration into a wide range of UAV designs and ensures a high degree of adaptability.

The construction of the SP-210 TS ROS is characterized by durability and robustness. The crankshaft is equipped with four ball bearings, ensuring low-friction functionality and an extended service life. The engine is operated with a 50:1 fuel-to-oil mixing ratio, which corresponds to a 2% mixing ratio. It is recommended to use high-quality Aspen 2-stroke mix fuel to ensure optimal performance and maximum engine life.

The SP-210 TS ROS can be supplied with a variety of optional configurations. These include a starter generator and a stable power supply via a generator. A stainless steel exhaust system can be added for optimized exhaust control and noise reduction. An optional running-in service ensures that the engine is fully operational before delivery.

The SP-210 TS ROS is particularly suitable for unmanned aerial vehicles operating in challenging environments. These include surveillance and inspection missions, as well as transportation tasks in various industries. Its reliability and performance also make it ideal for specialized drones designed for highly accurate or long-term missions.

This engine runs at an operating voltage of 6 to 8.4 V DC. Thanks to the well-thought-out design and the materials used, maintenance is kept to a minimum, reducing operating costs and ensuring high availability. Customers benefit from an engine that is not only powerful but also extremely user-friendly.
