With the addition of the IM-X1000 digital measuring projector from KEYENCE, the company is expanding its quality assurance capabilities and further strengthening the inspection of precision-critical components.

Fast and reproducible measurement of complex components
The new IM-X1000 digital measuring projector enables fast, precise, and reproducible component measurement. The system combines optical measurement technology with probes and a confocal laser, allowing both complex geometries and three-dimensional components to be inspected.
Automated measurement processes also significantly reduce operator influence. Defined inspection procedures can be repeated consistently, helping Sky Power achieve a high level of reproducibility across its quality controls.
Greater process reliability starting with the incoming inspection
A key area of application for the new measurement technology is incoming inspection. Precision-critical components can be inspected efficiently at an early stage before they enter subsequent production and assembly processes.
This enables deviations to be identified sooner, reduces the risk of non-conforming components entering production, and provides a reliable database for further quality assurance activities. At the same time, automated measurement helps make inspection processes more efficient.
